Dopo l’esperienza in Francia, la Starboard porta avanti il suo programma per formare giovani alla pratica del wingfoil, questa volta ha invitato Riccardo a partecipare alla presentazione mondiale della nuova monotipo X15 Class, un’attrezzatura che vuole avvicinare i giovani alla pratica di questo nuovo e splendido sport a costi sostenibili. Il luogo scelto è Malcesine sul lago di Garda durante il 10 Foiling Week organizzato dal circolo Fragliavela. Una settimana di regate per tutte le imbarcazioni che con i foil volano sull’acqua.
Per i ragazzi del wingfoil, provenienti da tutta Europa , la Starboard e Freewing hanno messo a disposizione 15 attrezzature complete per testare, provare e gareggiare in una long distance e un velocissimo course race.
A me è stato chiesto di immortalare con le fotografie questa prima presentazione mondiale, è stata un’esperienza molto importante e gratificante, le mie fotografie sono poi state pubblicate in parecchi siti in giro per l’Europa. Ancora un grande grazie a Svein e a tutta la famiglia Starboard-Freewing per questa bella opportunità e spero di partecipare ad un’altro incontro.

After the experience in France, Starboard continues its program to train young people in the practice of wingfoil, this time inviting Riccardo to participate in the world presentation of the new one-design X15 Class, an equipment that aims to bring young people closer to the practice of this new and beautiful sport at an affordable cost. The chosen venue is Malcesine on Lake Garda during the 10 Foiling Week organized by the Fragliavela club. A week of regattas for all boats that use foils to fly on the water.
For the wingfoil guys, who came from all over Europe , Starboard and Freewing provided 15 complete rigs to test, try and compete in a long distance and a very fast course race.
I was asked to immortalize with photographs this first world presentation, it was a very important and rewarding experience, my photographs were then published in several sites around Europe. Again a big thank you to Svein and the whole Starboard-Freewing family for this nice opportunity and I hope to attend another meeting.
